The two terms are often used interchangeably for small diameter stainless steel tubes. We call microtubes our tubes from 0.40 to 6 mm OD; the smallest sizes are used as capillary tubes in instrumentation, analytical and medical applications, for example in needle production.
We produce microtubes from 0.40 mm outside diameter, with wall thicknesses from 0.10 mm.
