OBR was founded in 1950 as a specialist in high-precision machining, working mainly with CNC equipment — machining centres, lathes, milling machines and grinders.
Always looking for new markets and innovative techniques, RIGAMONTI went on to specialise in manufacturing high-precision stainless steel tubes and microtubes, with dimensions and tolerances that meet the needs of customers in demanding industries. This is how the Tube Drawing Division was born.
In the early 1990s, a company policy of reinvesting in research, development and quality management led to new milestones: Rigamonti was among the first companies in Italy to achieve EN ISO 9001 quality management certification.
